Soooooo, last week a wild thing happened. 

Sometimes words just don’t do things justice, and there’s an emoji we’ve been using in the last week more than any other, which we think sums it up perfectly. 

And that’s this one: 🤯

In 2021, when we launched a collab with Cungelella Art, it sold out in under 2 hours. 

This time around, we were prepared for it to be a big hit, so we ordered a whole lot more stock.

TBH in the lead up we started to get a little insecure. We wanted it to be great, but like imposter syndrome blah blah blah we had kind of convinced ourselves it wouldn’t be. 

But when the big day came around and we launched early access to the Cungelella Art x TWOOBS collab at 12pm on Friday, it went bananas in a way that we just weren’t expecting.

It went so bananas, in fact, that by the time we launched to the public at 1pm, it was basically all gone.

So yeh, like we said… 🤯

We did a survey on our Insta Stories to find out how many people managed to grab a pair vs how many didn’t get in quick enough, and 59% of you said you missed out on getting a pair.

We even received DMs to say that some people’s sizes were sold out within 5 minutes. 

So we got our thinking caps on. 

And our scrolling thumbs on.

And then we stumbled upon this comment:

Now we like to think of ourselves as clever cookies.

So clever, that we know that sometimes (okay most of the time) the answers that our customers can come up with are way better than the ones we can come up with.

So we’ll cut to the chase: we’re doing it!

This Thursday 29th June we’re going to put the Cungelella Art x TWOOBS collab back onto sale, and you can buy them to your heart’s desire.

They’ll be selling on pre-order, and we’ll place an order with our factory for exactly what you’ve chosen.

And the best part is, we’ll still be doing free returns and exchanges, even though you’re ordering on pre-order.

There’s just one little twist, and that’s that it’s only going to be for 48 hours.

In order to get them here in time for spring/summer, our factory needs notice of what we want to order YESTERDAY (literally), but they’re good to us, so they’ve agreed to next week.
