So we can’t help but wonder… has sustainability become the ex we never call back?

According to the ninth annual State of Fashionreport by Business of Fashion, sustainability has officially fallen off the global agenda. In 2024, 29 percent of fashion executives cited it as a top-three risk for growth. This year? A measly 18 percent. Sustainability has gone from front-row fashion week seating to waiting in line at coat check.

And yet, as the world moves on to the next big thing (the Metaverse? The return of low-rise jeans—please, no), here at TWOOBS we’re remaining monogamous to our gal, sustainability. Why?
