TWOOBS is looking for a passionate Footwear Designing superstar who cares about the planet, is excited about our mission to create positive change in the fashion industry and absolutely love themselves a shoe. You will be working a part time role, 3 days per week (with 2 days in our super dooper fun office in Richmond. There will be at least one dog here at any time).

Here's a bit about what you'll do:

Design

• Thoughtfully designing new footwear to sit alongside our current offering
• Continuing to tweak existing footwear designs based off customer/team feedback and new sustainability practices
• Inserting colour in our footwear ranges for newness twice yearly
• Trend forecasting where relevant for TWOOBS
• Collaborating with brands on capsule collabs
• Sometimes: designing and developing thoughtful product lines outside of shoes ie keyring, tote bag, socks.

Production Management

• Working closely with the factory
• Receiving, providing feedback, and signing off on samples
• Keeping the factory accountable to timelines
• Material research and establishing relationships with new suppliers
• Ensuring QC has all relevant information ahead of inspection
• Working to resolve any issues that arise in production
• Occasionally going to China to visit factories/suppliers

Sustainability

• Researching and staying up to date with best sustainability practices
• Staying up to date with innovations and new materials available on the market
• Making recommendations based on research + costings
• Working to ensure that where possible, best practice is being implemented throughout the design process
