It’s your girl Stef here. One of the TWOOBS founders (yup one of those sister ones), and also our resident copywriter, but shhhh today I’m pretending not to be “them” and just to be me. Just go with it.

Last year I was lucky enough to get to be one of those girlies who headed off on a Euro summer vacay. Trotted off to Spain on a solo adventure I did (not sure why my tone just switched to Yoda, I promise it won’t happen again). 

So while I was on said adventure, there were 3 things I packed that completely changed my trip, and I just need to share them with you.

Okay, okay, okay, I hear what you’re thinking here: she’s biased, she owns the company. And while that may be mostly (absolutely) true, if something works for me, I’m the kinda person who just can’t help but shout it to the world.

So let’s get to it, these were the 3 absolutely life-changing things I took with me:

1. A pair of OG TWOOBS

Where do I even begin with how perfect these are as travel shoes? They basically pack flat in your luggage, and they're lightweight so they won’t add kilos to your case. With a pair of socks they’re the perfect plane shoes, and once you arrive they're ideal for everything from the beach, to walking around a city all day long. I’m talking miles and miles and not even a blister, and did I mention I’m hypermobile so I have terrible hip and back problems in unsupportive shoes? 

I promise you I am not just tooting my own horn here, scroll our feed and our website reviews and you will find hundreds of people vouching for this. 

We somehow accidentally designed the world’s coolest shoes (mainly according to me and I don’t know, like, all the fashion people) that also happen to double as excellent walking shoes. 

A must if you're looking to put the trot in globetrotter - and let’s be honest, who isn’t?

2. Two pairs of Thingys

I can’t remember if it was me or our design team who came up with these (it was 100% them I’m just trying to take credit) - but these are the secret key, because thread them onto your OG TWOOBS, and voila! Your perfect daytime shoes are suddenly ready for a night out on Las Ramblas (or, like, wherever the cool kids hang out these days). 

Some people like to go with one pair which works too, but I swear when you put a Thingy on each strap, them shoes of yours become fancier than a pair of heels. And then you can mix and match with how many you put on. 

Everyone will think you have packed like four different pairs of shoes, meanwhile you will be downright cackling to yourself while you wheel your dainty little suitcase from place to place. Muy bien.

3. A Blooper Booper

This one is the real kicker (I’m a footwear copywriter, I can’t help myself on the shoe puns). 

If you pop a Blooper Booper in your toiletry bag, not only do you have the perfect tool with you in case you accidentally on purpose go dancing through the mud in your TWOOBS at Boom Festival (I’m still young and know things), you also have a laundry bar that you can literally use to wash all your clothes in your hotel/hostel/hut-on-the-beach-somewhere-dear-lord-can-I-come-with-you sink. 

I did this for the first time last year while I was testing out the Bloopy Boopy before we launched, and trust me when I tell you you will want to hunt me down and plant a massive kiss on my forehead for giving you this tip.
