Did you know our very own co-founder Stef has been a Byron Bay local for the last 3 years?
Yep. And she knows the best super secret spots for that Byron trip you have coming up (or the one you're still manifesting). Even better - we convinced her to share 'em with us (and you, yipeee!).
Read on for the only Byron guide you'll ever need...
Folk - Nourishing food nestled amongst nature, try grab the daybed spot!
The General Store - A TWOOBS team fave for the juicy smoothies, epic staff and chilled vibes. Must try: The vegan burrito.
Topshop - Your go-to spot for acai bowls and burgers pre- and post- beach dips.
Vagabond - Food that’ll equal parts delight your mouth and your tummy (aka it’s both healthy and yummy).

The Hut - THE hinterland spot for a long boozy lunch.
Kouzina - Delish Greek food in what feels like your yia-yia’s courtyard, that usually ends in Greek dancing. Yassou!
Bang Bang - A vibey Asian fusion eatery that we love for still retaining a level of that laid back Byron feel.
Smoking Camel - By the same peeps who did Light Years (another asian fusion fave), but this time they’re serving up Middle Eastern deliciousness.
Frankie’s Gelato - The coolest gelato spot in town with the coolest neighbours (oh hi that’d be us!).
Masa - Croissants by a former Lune chef, the vegan options are limited to sourdough bread for the moment… let’s start a petition?!
Rae’s - While lunch & dinner bookings can be hard to come by, you can still stop by Byron’s most Instagrammable spot for a sunset cocktail (and to snap some pics!).
The Balcony Bar - Situated on a literal balcony right in the middle of town, this is the perfect place to start your night with some drinks and yummy bites.
Hotel Marvell Rooftop Bar - The perfect spot to watch the sunset with experimental cocktails and yummy nibbles.Must try: Marvelltini.
Casa Luna - A restaurant that turns into a bar/club as the night goes on. The food is delish or visit later for fun tunes and a great little d-floor if you fancy a boogie.
TWOOBS - Forgot your beach sandals? *Not at all* biased when we say this is the best (and prettiest) shoe shop in town. The sunny store design also diverted 891kgs of plastic from landfill.
Zulu and Zephyr - This Byron-based brand has got you covered for beach attire, they even make matching minis in their swimwear.
Rowie - Byron-born Rowie is our go-to for beautiful basics that will last seasons to come.

YOGA, PILATES & MEDITATION
Creature Yoga -The spot for yoga die-hards. If you’re a yogi in training then consider this your happy place. Must try: A class with co-owner Tahl.
Peaches - If you enjoy working out to blaring Beyoncé, then you’re gonna a-peach-iate this place as much as we do. You might even catch Stef running a meditation class!
Bende - We love Bende for its gorg space and wide offering; if you grab a holiday pack you can sample a little of everything, from yoga to reformer classes to dancing.
Bamboo Yoga School - Nestled amongst the trees in a clear bamboo marquee, this place is the definition of peaceful, offering yoga and lots of fun workshops. Must try: Breathwork with Sara & Dan from Yes&.
The Sunseeker - A converted ‘80s style motel that is right out of a design magazine, this is definitely where the cool people hang out.
Hotel Marvel - This hotel is right in the middle of town, although between the rooftop pool and bar, and a restaurant that’s serving up delish breaky, lunch and dinner, you might never leave.

Whites Beach - If you’re looking for jaw to the floor beauty, then Whites is your Insta haven. Well worth the 10 minute trek down from the car.
Wategos - This is one of the most gorg beaches we’ve ever been to and it’s right near town. It’s west-facing meaning it’s the only beach in the area you’ll be able to see the sunset.
Belongil - Our favourite doggo beach. Perfect for a walk with your pupper, or an ideal spot to hang all day.
Broken Head - A breathtakingly beautiful beach, and also where the Hemsworths are known to surf. Grab a spot by the rocks on a windy day and you’ll be sheltered.
Brunswick Heads River - The cool kids’ alternative to the beach. Relax in the tranquil water, or take a SUP out for a spin.
The Banya - This bathhouse is one of the prettiest places we’ve ever been to. Soak in your 1.5 hour sesh in the sauna, steam room and spas, splurge on a massage, and make time for dumplings and chop chop salad in the cafe.

Minyon Falls - If you like to work for your view, head to Minyon Falls which is about a 2 hour walk each way, but so so worth it.

Byron Farmers Market - Every Thursday morning. Come for the local produce and delish food stalls, stay for the music and vibes.
Brunswick Heads - Our favourite seaside town in the Shire, stop in for the best burger at Old Maids, followed by a dip in the river, and finish with pizzas at St Marie’s.
Bangalow - There’s something about a rainy day in Bangalow. Start with brunch at the boho chic Woods, spend the day shopping at local boutiques, and end with an Italian feast at the vibiest Ciao Mate.
Mullumbimby - Known as the hippy hub of Byron, nom on a nourish bowl from the cute Paseyo, cruise for crystals at Mullum Mandala, pop in for pastries at Baker’s Daughter, and end your evening with a sabich malawach from Yaman.
Crystal Castle - If (like us) you take your love of crystals very seriously, you’re gonna wanna spend an arvo here, walking the reflexology path and meditating inside the world’s largest amethyst geode. Must try: Sound healing held twice daily in the yoga dome.
